The age condition
There is a stated age below which a child can be included, and the file is read against it every year rather than once. We confirm the figure for your case, and we do not publish an age here that we have not checked.
What matters practically is that the year a child crosses that line is a year to plan for, not a year to be surprised by.
What school enrolment does
Enrolment usually forms part of the evidence, because it shows the child is living here rather than visiting. Which document the office accepts as proof of enrolment is something we confirm for your case.
The relationship
Birth certificates, and translations of them, in the form the office reads rather than the form the registry issued. Where a name has changed, the paperwork that explains the change travels with the rest.
